Katarzyna Chałubińska-Jentkiewicz was appointed as the Director of the Domain Name Registry at NASK - National Research Institute on 16 January 2023. Piotr Studziński-Raczyński became her deputy.

Katarzyna Chałubińska-Jentkiewicz, selected as a result of the qualification procedure, holds a habilitation degree in legal sciences. As a professor at the War Studies University, she serves as the Head of the Department of Information Technology Law. She specialises in the law of cybersecurity, the Internet, digital media, intellectual property law and the law of new technologies. She is an author of numerous publications in this subject area.

The new Director of the Domain Name Registry has extensive experience in managing teams and has the ability to combine academic and practical activities. Amongst other roles, she is the Director of the Academic Centre for Cyber Security Policy and served as Director of the Audiovisual Institute of the National Film Archive. She sits in the Council of Digital Affairs, the Security and Defence Council and the National Development Council in the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland. She also serves as a public advisor in the area of cybersecurity to the Minister of National Defence.

Katarzyna Chałubińska-Jentkiewicz succeeded Roman Malinowski, who retired, as Director of the Domain Name Registry.

The position of the Deputy Director of the Domain Name Registry was taken over by Piotr Studziński- Raczyński, who has been associated with NASK - National Research Institute for 11 years. In the .pl Domain Name Registry, he has so far been in charge of, among others, cooperation with the Partners of the .pl Domain Name Registry. Recently, he has been responsible for the development and implementation of products and added services, e.g. in the field of operational service and security of the Internet domain names. He is actively involved in the work of CENTR, the Council of European National Top-Level Domain Registries.

Previously, the position of Deputy Director of the Domain Name Registry was held by Marek Zaliński.
