Another quarter in the .pl domain registry with impressive growth

The first quarter of 2024 brought impressive growth in the .pl domain registry. By the end of March,
there were 2 564 588 active names in DNS, which represents an increase of 18 181 compared
to the end of 2023.

In the discussed period, the number of new registrations reached 212 332, marking an increase of
20 552. On average, there were 249 more names registered daily compared to the previous quarter, indicating growing interest in the .pl domain.

The number of unique .pl domain registrants increased by over 5 000, reaching 1 136 626 by the
end of March. During this period, 77 402 more domains were renewed than in the previous quarter,
with a renewal rate of 72.24%.

It is particularly pleasing to see the increased interest among registrants in securing domain names
with the DNSSEC protocol. The number of such names grew by nearly 6 000, reaching 432 016.
