The continuing upward trend in the .pl domain name registry

The number of renewals is growing - at the end of the fourth quarter of 2023, 437 666 names were renewed, 28 602 more than in the previous quarter. The renewal rate reached 72.29%.

In the discussed period, 2 546 407 domain names active in the DNS were maintained in the .pl domain name registry, 17 598 more than at the end of Q3 2023. 191 780 domain names were registered, with 19 383 more registrations than in the previous quarter.

On average, 2 085 names were registered daily, an increase of 211 compared to the previous quarter.

The number of registrants also increased by 5 942, and by 2 159 – the numer of transfers between the registrars.
