Report on the .pl domain name market for Q4 2025

The fourth quarter of 2025 in the .pl domain market was marked by steady growth, alongside consistently high registration activity. Despite minor fluctuations in the number of active domain names, the market confirmed its maturity and resilience to seasonal changes.

By the end of December, the registry held nearly 2.56 million active .pl domain names, keeping it among the largest country–code registries in Europe. A key growth driver remained the number of new registrations – over 186,000 domains were registered during the quarter, a noticeable increase compared to the previous quarter.

There was also a consistently strong tendency among domain holders to renew their names – the renewal rate reached 71.15%, while the number of renewed domains remained comparable to the previous year. At the same time, the user base continued to expand, growing by more than 12,000 registrants compared to the previous quarter.

A positive signal was the continued development of security–enhancing services – the number of domains protected with DNSSEC exceeded 485,000. High activity was also observed in transfers, reflecting increasing market mobility and the competitiveness of registrar offerings.

By the end of the year, 198 registrars from 22 countries were participating in the NASK Partner Programme, highlighting the international nature of the market while maintaining the dominant role of domestic entities.

In summary, the fourth quarter of 2025 confirmed the stability and maturity of the .pl domain market, while sustaining positive trends in registrations, renewals, and the development of supporting services.
