Information on the change in the .pl domain name registration process

It is to be informed that NASK implemented a change in the .pl domain name registration process, consisting in shortening the BOOK_BLOCKED state from 90 to 30 days. .pl domain names enter this state after completing the 14-day reservation period, thereby becoming available for registration. Domains in the BOOK_BLOCKED state are not available for re-reservation.

The above change is related to the simplification of the .pl domain name registration process, as announced previously, by eliminating the 14-day reservation period (RESERVED state) and the BOOK_BLOCKED state from the .pl domain name life cycle, effective from January 8, 2020. Domain names, released from the 14-day reservation period after that date, will be removed from the Registry and become available for re-registration on a general basis.

The change, described above, does not apply to .pl domain names being in the BOOK_BLOCKED state prior to its introduction.
